Review: Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (II)- Movie Monster Series Mechagodzilla (Bandai 2001)

Mechagodzilla 93, which has absolutely no connection with Showa Mechagodzilla, which had a sequel called "Terror Of Mechagodzilla" I believe. Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (II) Is one of my favorite Heisei Films from the Godzilla Series and I absolutely adore it, it's one of those films which I like to watch over and over again. Mechagodzilla was created by the U.N.G.C.C., the United Nations Godzilla Countermeasure Center to defeat Godzilla. It's made out of some special alloy that allows it to absorb Godzilla's heat beams and fire it back through a cannon in it's belly. Nevertheless, I love the design and It's nice and smooth and shiny, you know, the 90's Robot design (with some exceptions). Let's move on.

Review: Samurai Sentai Shinkenger - S.H. Figuarts Shinken Red, Shiba Takeru

So the next set of figures is... Shinkenger, which was the 3rd Sentai I watched and the 2nd one I finished. Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (侍戦隊シンケンジャー), the 33rd entry of Toei's Super Sentai Series and one of my favorites. Shinkenger is one of those shows that I go back an watch over and over again. Shinken Red ( シンケンレッド), Shiba Takeru (志葉 丈瑠), is the leader and lord (殿 tono)of the Shinkengers. He is strict and hard and could be classified as a Tsundere in my opinion. Owns the Lion Origami (獅子折神 Shishi Origami), and his signature weapon is the Rekka Daizantou (烈火大斬刀 Blazing Great Slicing Sword) with the help of the common disk (共通ディスク Kyōtsū Disuku). I say he's one of the best Reds of the millennium and one of my top 5 at the moment. He's a bit hesitant to work with others due to a certain situation he's in and tries to distance himself from his retainers, he can also be brutally honest and do things you might not expect. He's been called a liar, in mind and body. I'll reveal more details about certain characters as we progress with the review. Shinkenger is a masterpiece in my opinion, the music the setting and the story is a tenoutaten. Let's a move on.

Review: Power Rangers Megaforce Wave 1 - Megaforce Pink Ranger

Power Rangers Megaforce is coming back in two months I believe. Emma is cool and Gia's best friend, Her counterpart, Eri, is Alata's best friend. Both Characters are pretty cool and good singers too. Since you might not know, I like both series and I might finish Goseiger soon, Megaforce, I'm eager to see how Super Megaforce is going to turn out and I'll get the 4" Gokaiger figures. Anyways, Pink was difficult to find, I could only see the rest and no Pink so I ordered this one online for about 13 bucks. I'm happy it's here and I will try to hunt down Robo Knight and the Metallic Figures. Let's move on with the review.

Review: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - 20th Anniversary Legacy Megazord

Oh boy... this is going to be a very long review... I hesitated reviewing this and the Morpher because I don't have any other MMPR figs to pose em with for the pictures, but then I went on Ebay and saw the price for the Black Ranger and went like "... eh, screw it" and there you have it folks. Anyways, I did indeed watch MMPR like I've mentioned before and I had a bootleg Megazord and Dragonzord when I was younger, I don't have any pictures sadly and they were thrown out about 1-2 years ago, they also had Zyuranger stickers and I had the bootleg flipheads too. I used to love those things. I believe I had the Megazord around 2006-2009 and then 2010 came along and saw the 2010 version of the Megazord. I was like "I already have this, I don't need it." As for the 4" figures, Oh these look cheap and they're smaller I don't want em... and I regret that. I've always liked the Daizyujin design so anything with it I want. I started watching Zyuranger around december and I love it, I'll finish it once I get my Zyuranger Figuarts... anyways, ever since the Die Cast Megazord was shown in the Comic Con Last year I wanted this. Then after months of searching, finally! It has some nostalgic value to me to be honest. Let's move on.

Review: Hikōnin Sentai Akibaranger- S.H. Figuarts Akiba Yellow

So this is the last review of the Akibaranger team, for now. The last remaining items from season one are, Itassha, Moe Moe Z-Cune, and other things... Anyways, Akiba Yellow, Moegi Yumeria (萌黄 ゆめりあ) or Yuko Yokoyama (横山 優子). I find the character to be very very cute for a lot of reasons. She looks younger than she is, well in the show (Karin Ogino (荻野 可鈴), her actress is 17 irl), in the show she is 20-ish. She's a fujyshi cosplayer. She always stays in character when cosplaying a character. She's one of my favorite characters and is the 3rd and last member, 2nd is Akagi and the 1st member is Mitsuki. Her powers were also used by Her mother in a delusion in episode 5. Let's move on!

Review: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - 20th Anniversary Legacy Power Morpher

So, today, the Legacy Power Morpher which I had been searching ever since I saw a picture of it and when it had been out on stores. and I love it. I had finally found it after months of searching, going to Toys R Us and coming back empty handed and then one day, it was there. This is the Henshin/Transformation/Morphing device that the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers use in the 1st season of Mighty Morphin up until season 3. I didn't really watch the Original Power Rangers completely but I'm planning on buying the DVDs, Anyways, they were Saban's successful attempt of adapting Super Sentai using stock footage from Toei's 16th team, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and I wonder what would have happened if they had adapted Jetman, a Legacy Cross Changer for last year... And if you don't like the "Power Rangers" on the Morpher, feel free to buy reprolabels, I'll be keeping it as it is. Let's-a-Move on.

Review: Power Rangers Samurai - Blue Samurai Ranger Mega Mode [Wave 1]

In PRS they go Mega Mode by using the Kanji for super. Their suits and weapons change and to be honest, they're awesome. While Red looks better in almost everything (IMO) I prefer yellow in Mega Mode. Blue looks cool, and the Helmet looks awesome. Let's move on.

Comparison: Female Ranger Bodies - S.H. Figuarts Shinken Yellow and Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai Yellow Samurai Ranger [Wave 3]

The Original idea was a history of female ranger bodies but I didn't have enough to make it so Its drafted for now. Since I couldn't wait and the Reviews for either figures aren't up yet, Shinken Yellow will be later later, Shinken Red will be soon, I have the pictures and I just didn't know how it would go down, I had em even before the Akiba Red review. Maybe after Akiba Yellow. Yellow Samurai Ranger will go after the Wave 1 (If I can find a mooger) and Wave 2 of the Samurai/Super Samurai Toy Line. Let's start anyways.

Review: Hikōnin Sentai Akibaranger- S.H. Figuarts Akiba Blue

Akiba Blue! This is Mitsuki Aoyagi (青柳 美月), she's blue and has the Kanji for blue in her name. I like this figure a lot and like the character and the actress for various reasons... anyways, Akiba Blue was a cool character, bit of a Tsundere but cool nevertheless. Her suit had a split ponytail and a smaller breastplate and her skirt is similar to Hououranger's. I was kinda disappointed when they announced that she wouldn't appear for Shizun Tsuu, maybe in episode 1 and some clips from later episodes but she wouldn't be Akiba Blue Again, More on Shizun Tsuu Later. Let's get onto the review.

Review: Thundercats - Thundercats Classic Lion-O

I saw this figure when I went to Toys R Us 2 weeks ago, I wanted to buy it but I had already spend to much due to the Legacy Morpher and Megazord. I came back a week later to buy this and a couple cards (Power Rangers Megaforce Cards) and to be honest, I know nothing about Thundercats, I have absolutely no memories from this, never watched the 2011 reboot either. However, my father does indeed have a lot of memories from this and he went all fanboy when he saw this and told me things about the show. I did look it up and Its pretty cool. The 80's series has a very Saturday cartoon type of feel and the 2011 version is pretty awesome. This is Lion-O, the awesome leader of the Thundercats, I'd say more but I don't know much, I just started the series. Let's start.

Review: Hikōnin Sentai Akibaranger- S.H. Figuarts Akiba Red

Itasa wa Tsuyo sa! Hikonin Sentai! Akibarenjaa! (痛さは強さ, 非公認戦隊アキバレンジャー) So, I'll be fully honest with you, Akibaranger is one of my favorite shows ever, I'd rather watch this than Toei's current two series, Kyoryuger and Wizard, both of which I haven't watched in months. Wizard is 2nd and Kyoryuger being my last choice. Akibaranger is just fantastic (IMO) because it has the an Anime feel and a live action cast with Tokusatsu. Its just really really funny. Akiba Red, Akagi Nobuo (赤木 信夫) is the leader of the Akibarangers chosen by Hyroyo Hakase because of his powerful delusional powers which allow Akagi to escape from reality. He also has the Kanji for Red in his name. This eccentric Sentai Otaku has a deep love for Sentai and has been interested in anime too and his Waifu is, Aoi-tan. His roll calls consist of referencing past Sentai Senshi and then "Akiba Red", an example, "If this was Dekaranger I would be Ban, Akiba Red" or other trivia. Akagi was the 2nd member to be scouted, 1st being Aoyagi, the 1st to be replaced. He was replaced with Takuma Tsuzuki and then he went back to his regular position.

Review: Godzilla Series - Bandai Creation Godzilla (1954)

GODZILLA! Godzilla is one of my earliest memories of Tokusatsu and so is Power Rangers, I remember watching Godzilla 2000 around maybe 2002 or 03. A long time later I bought Godzilla: Final Wars which is pretty awesome, later I began getting more and more into Tokusatsu and eventually led me to the Heisei Series and the Millennium series, I only watched 1 of the earlier ones which was Gojira, the original version of the movie not the Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This was just recently though, the 1st time I saw the 1st movie in the series was Last year. Anyways, the movie was awesome, and this led to a couple other films which I really like, the 1st Gamera being one of them, I have yet to see Gamera 95. I have the 1st 10 episodes of Ultraman but haven't gotten around to watch it due to some other things (Animes and Tokus), let's get on to the review.

Review: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive - Light and Sound Operation Overdrive Pink

Ok, so I finished watching Power Rangers Mystic Force which was awesome by the way, then they moved on onto Power Rangers Operation Overdrive which I only watched a couple episodes up until "Once A Ranger" and then stopped, this was when my Interest in PR started to die out a bit, I didn't dislike it or think of it as a kid's show, it was just that It wasn't that interesting to me anymore, however when Jungle Fury started I only watched one episode. Let's move on!

Review: Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla: S.H. Monsterarts Little Godzilla and Effect Pieces

So I ordered this a year ago and had it on Pile of loot at BigBadToyStore but never got around to buying that Revoltech Ika Musume so I had it send now, It got here today. Since I didn't really have anything else to review I thought, hey, why not this. So This is Little Godzilla from Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla, the older version of Baby Godzilla from Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (II), and I like the character's design and it was a Tamashii web exclusive so I had to have it. The price was around 45 dollars when I pre-ordered it so it was worth the price.
