4th in the Shinkenger roll call, and 3rd to arrive after Mako and Ryunosuke, Shinken Green (シンケングリーン)! Tani Chiaki ((谷 千明)! He's the Samurai of Wood (木の侍 Ki no Samurai), he's also lazy, irresponsible, and arrogant teenage schoolboy, only becoming a Shinkenger because he thought it'd be fun and because he wanted to protect some people. He didn't like the idea of a "Period Drama" with a Lord but he eventually got used to it, He now considers Takeru a rival and he wants to surpass him. He never did get formal training but he is pretty good coming up with ideas and surprise attacks. His arsenal has the usual Shinkenger arsenal but with a Wood Spear (ウッドスピア), the Kuma (Bear) Disk (熊ディスク), the Kuma Origami (兜ディスク), and the Kabuto (Hercules Beetle) Disk (兜ディスク) and Kabuto Origami ((兜折神) which was originally designated to Mako but seeing as how Mr. Tani is stubborn he took the disk and attempted to use it but failed, later on he eventually grew stronger an managed to use it without any problem. Let's-a-Move on with the review. Keep in mind that this was a Tamashii Web Exclusive so it wont be that easy to find for a cheap price.
Box
So far, Shinken Green's box is my favorite, the shade of green and the Shiny Symbol for Wood (木 Ki) and like the other two, a standing pose. On the side, the symbol and Samurai Sentai Shinkenja, Shinken Green. The back some cool poses, the main accessories and info about the S.H. Figuarts line.
Top has, S.H. Figuarts, Shinken Green, Tani Chiaki. It has the square with the symbol for wood, basically the Kuma Origami in it's emblem mode and the Shiba clan logo.
Contents
You get 1 Shinken Green, 11 hands, Shinkenmaru and disk, Kuma Origami in both modes, Shodophone and the Wood Spear with the disk.
Figure
It's the same body type as Shinken Blue and Red and it'll be able to pull off most of the poses that Chiaki does in the show. The Helmet is sculpted nicely and looks more accurate than the others but is indeed still stylized.
The shade of green is nice, it's a very dark forest green. My figure doesn't really have any problems.

Spear, Sword, Hands, Phone, Bear, that's it.
Pairs
Fists for fighting and posing!
Relaxed hands for relaxed poses.
Tighter grip hands for the Wood Spear.
Left Hands
An open palm Karate-chop-hand-but-not-really.
A "Come here" or "Go ahead" hand for taunts and personal poses.
Right Hands
Shodophone holding hands.
Kuma Origami holding hands similar to Shinken Blue's.
1 Sword holding hand... I wish he had two, then again he barely used a proper stance...
Weapons and Other Items
Shodophone.
Shinkenmaru
You can remove the disk.
Kuma Origami in Emblem mode, it's nicely sculpted and it has all the cuts that the toy would have.
It can be held nicely too.
The Kuma Origami Animal mode, it's nicely sculpted and it looks beautiful, it's puny and it has a beautiful paint job.
Wood Spear
The Wood Spear (whose name was changed to Forest Spear to avoid any innuendos) is a pretty cool weapon, It's based of the Yari, It can cover a lot of area since it's very very long, it's taller than the figure.
Mine's a little bent but the detail is great, unfortunately the Spear head isn't removable so you wont be able to do the thing in the show when he puts in the disk.
The Kuma disk has an animation but you can't really tell, it's still pretty nice, it's bigger than the Common Disk.
It's great!
Dislikes and Would Likes
Just the lack of the left Sword holding hand and minor inaccuracies with the helmet. I woulda wished for a removable spear tip thought.
Overall
Another great figure for the figuarts line, It has a bunch of accessories and you can pull off a ton of poses from the show. If you like the Show, Character or Color this is for you, have it on display with cheeky cool poses.
