So, this is Jake, the guy that is the Black Ranger in Power Rangers Megaforce, which, like I've mentioned before, a decent adaptation of Tensou Sentai Goseiger, that show that is awesomely epic and I finished about a week ago, man that Agiri! (Gosei Black). Completely different from the source footage, Jake is a carefree guy who likes Gia, the Yellow Ranger. Aside from Emma, he is also a good actor in my opinion, more so than Troy, and the character will fit in nicely with his next set of Ranger powers and footage, as Gokai Green or Super Megaforce Black (Green). Let's a move on, I unfortunately don't have much to say about the character rather than he's decent and funny.
Figure
The body is the same as the Red one and it is different than the Samurai ones. The Black just looks good with this figure, the black goes well with the white on the costume. The back of the belt isn't painted unfortunately.
The helmet has a more nicely centered "Gosei" symbol, the visor and the design is super awesome it just looks fantastic. The chest has the Land emblem for the Land team which consists of his and the next Megaforce figure...
Accuracy man, accuracy...
Accessories
The usual, morpher, gun, card and personal weapon (the one that I didn't forget to put in the picture this time)
The Gosei Blaster is nicely detailed for it's size but has the generic header which you can pass off as the snake one or shark, then again it has the dragon's open mouth.
Just look at that detailed belt! It looks great and you can peg the stuff on the sides... seriously! look at that gold.
The Snake Axe is nicely detailed, it IS indeed different on both sides and you can clearly see why. It's nicely detailed which is awesome but it has no paint.
The Snake Axe is held... but the handle is small (just by a bit) and slides off the hand easily.
Power Card
The card is the Morphin Card which they use to Morph into action. Of couse it makes a sound in the Gosei Morpher!
Dislikes and Would Likes
Just one issue, lack of paint and the dragon shark/snake Gosei Blaster, oh and that small handle on the Axe.
Overall
So, this is honestly a good figure, I love it, it's nice and solid. It's a kids toy but it does indeed make a good collectors piece, Power Rangers or Super Sentai. If you like Black Rangers, get this, if you like Power Rangers get this, if you're a completionist and have a team not complete, get this. It's just awesome!
