Review: Power Rangers Megaforce- Armored Ultra Mode Red Ranger

As Many of you are Aware, Saban bought the right back for Power Rangers from Disney and made Power Rangers Samurai, Their adaptation of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, and as I've stated before this current season is an adaptation of Tensou Sentai Goseiger and Megaforce is currently on hiatus with new episodes coming around September. I've watched all the current episodes and my favorite is Troy's fight
with Creepox! We also haven't gotten to the bit where he gets the Ultra Mode. I've also watched Goseiger (up to 35) and I absolutely love it. My favorite character, of course, Is Alata. 2nd best is Gosei Knight or Eri. In Goseiger they get the Super Mode by getting the Abare Headder which let's them access the Super Mode. All I can say is Goseiger is pretty Epic. Now onto the review, which will be split into two parts (not really) one half for Regular mode and the other for, of course, Ultra Mode. The figure was 20 dollars and I bought it at Toys R Us along with Blue.

Box

The box is pretty nice, using the 15th anniversary design and has the display window which shows the figure. very nice pictures and on the back it displays the contents and advertises the Vinyls. It reads as "Armored Ultra Red Ranger" changing Goseiger's Super and powering it up to Ultra. It's still pretty nice, although the gold color pictured on the box is quite a different color. It's very collector friendly

Figure (Regular Mode)
The figure is pretty basic having a buff build with all the necessary paint. It has the Skick or Sky logo on his chest. The back shows bolts... lots and lots of screws.
Detail (Regular Mode)
The Helmet is nicely sculpted, has the Sky, Water and Land logos. The Dragon which you can see on the side of the helmet is nice. It's very nicely painted. The mouth piece looks very different from the suit helmet and looks more like Troy's lips...

The belt is nicely detailed. One thing I absolutely love is the sentai gloves and their attempt of the sentai boots.

Accessories
Swappable hands, Glove Brace, Leg Brace, Body Armour, Gosei Morpher, Gosei Blaster, Dragon/ Skick Sword,  Gosei Tensword and A Power Card.
The Card is a nice picture of the Red Ranger with his sword.
It also makes a sound on the Gosei Morpher
The Gosei Blaster and Morpher have all the detail, the Blaster even has the Dragon Zord (Headder)
And Since the hands are swappable you can make him have the relaxed hands for poses.
You can also put the Morpher and Blaster on the belt.

Also hold all the items like The Dragon/Skick Sword and the Gosei Blaster.
And one of the hands has a hole to put the peg of the Gosei Morpher and have him hold it.
Also the Gosei Tensword, and let's go onto the ultra form!
CHO TENSOU!

Ultra Mode

The armoured look is nice, it looks different from the suit but it is removable.
The Tensword is nicely detailed aswell, sadly the Gosei Morpher can't be mounted on top.
The back is nicely detailed. The eyes of the Zord/Headder is painted.

Articulation

Since the figure is pricey and nice it also has a lot of articulation. The head can turn, the arms are able to move forward and back and in and out. The Elbows and Knees, the ankle and the wrists, the hand is on a ball joint. The leg can rotate at the boot or the thigh. The Arm can also rotate. The Waist is on a ball joint and it has a nice Ab crunch which adds to the articulation. The hand is cut above the wrist since it shares the mold with the 20th Anniversary Armored Mighty Morhin Red just different boots and cuffs and belt and head and paint and armour...

Dislikes and Would Likes

Like the 15th Anniversary one it's very buff, I woulda liked a slim build. The lack of paint is also a bother but hey it's still a nice figure. The sword material is a soft plastic which gets bent inside the packaging. The armour would have been nice with nice gold paint and black outlining like in the show but its still a great figure. I highly recommend it, you can pose him and it just looks great on display. It has a nice detachable armour gimmick which I adore. So if you find one I recommend you to get one or two for displaying in each mode.
